Art isn’t limited to just paint on canvas or a pen on paper. It’s much more than that, whether it’s an outlet of aggression, an expression of sadness or happiness and much more. The greatest thing about art is that the world can be your canvas, and you don’t necessarily need a piece of paper to broadcast your thoughts.
This is something I love about street art, whether it’s graffiti that has been hand painted, or pre made stickers or decals that have collaged against a wall over a long amount of time. It’s as if people are sharing little pieces of them to the public. Of course being from America I see it all over the place. While visiting Japan in Tokyo, all types of street art filled the streets. Making that city look even more eccentric than people already were thinking. Japan is such an inspiring city for art, and it is overflowing with creativity without you even having to look for it. So please enjoy some of this art that I would stumble upon while traveling it. I hope you love it as much I did. And if you’re ever in Tokyo and see or have seen these pieces in person, I would love to know how you felt about them. Until next time my friends.
