I know I am extremely late to finally make my Japan diaries. It is now August and the trip happened in June… Well, I suppose better late than never! 🙂 As a beginner to international travel, the culture shock was overwhelming in a very positive way. Have you ever gotten tired of the every day life and cultural norms of the society of you live in? Traveling to a new country, with different customs, appearances, and overall lifestyles is an invigorating adventure that should be experienced at least once in life. This is what Japan was to me. It will also not be the last time I travel to a new country. Though, I am pretty sure nothing is like the first time you visit a completely unfamiliar environment.
Kyoto is so beautiful, and I wish there was more time to explore and soak in all of it’s beautiful culture. There is a lot of greenery, temples, and so much history in every area you visit. Nara and Osaka are quite close as well. I highly recommend a weekly rail pass if you intend on traveling a lot between spaced out areas. There are a lot of beautiful shrines and temples to visit.
So much went on in the span of three weeks so I will be splitting the experience into two parts. In addition to that separate pictures will be posted on my tumblr. So if you’d like to see a larger album of pictures you can look at them on tumblr as well!
